It takes more than one visit, and part of the work is yours. We will tell you exactly what that means before we schedule anything.
Bed bug eggs are laid in cracks and seams, and they do not respond to treatment the way live insects do. Whatever hatches after the first service has to be met by a second. That is the entire reason this is a multi-visit program and not a single appointment, not an upsell, just how the biology works.
It is also why bed bugs are not part of any monthly or bi-monthly plan, and why the Prowl Promise does not extend to them. A perimeter program is built to stop insects entering from outside. Bed bugs arrive on luggage, on furniture, and in bags. They walk in the front door with you.
We will give you a written preparation list before your first appointment, and we will go through it with you on the phone. It is genuinely the difference between a service that works and one that does not, because we cannot treat a harborage we cannot reach. In broad terms it means laundering and bagging linens and clothing on high heat, clearing floors and closet bottoms, pulling furniture off walls, and giving us access to bed frames and upholstered furniture.
If the prep is not done, we will tell you rather than treat around it and take your money for a service we know will underperform.
Inspection first. We quote after we know what we're dealing with.
